Airport Hotel Bonus Inn is located just minutes away from the Helsinki Airport. They offer free airport shuttles to and from the airport + free parking if you stay at this hotel. Keep reading below for more information on what we thought of our stay here!

Getting to the Hotel

Getting to this hotel is very quick and easy. The shuttle runs approx. every 30 minutes and picks up/drops off at both Terminal 1 & 2. Pick up locations and times can be viewed on the hotels website by clicking HERE

Rooms

There are a few different room types to choose from when booking your stay at Airport Hotel Bonus Inn. Our stay here was only for one night and we stayed in a standard twin room. We were not impressed to be completely honest. The room didn’t really look like the photos we saw when making our reservation.

This is the room we were given.

I don’t like to speak bad of a place, all the staff we encountered were great, but the room was not the cleanest –there was hair everywhere in the bathroom and on our bedding. The kitchen area was a little gross as well. I was ok to stay here the one night, but glad we were not here for our entire trip. If you are looking for a place easily accessible to the airport I don’t think I would recommend this location. I would recommend the Forenom ApartHotel though  which we stayed at later on during our vacation. (Blog post for this hotel can be found HERE.)

Our cost for 1 night here for 2 people was $88 USD (including taxes & fees)

Dining

Located inside the hotel is Restaurant KULMA & Atrium Lobby Bar. We had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and were very pleased with both meals. If you are staying here I would highly recommend dining here.

The breakfast buffet in the morning was included with our room and had a wide variety of items to choose from.

Also, near the check in desk, there is complimentary coffee & tea 24/7.

Burger + Fries (approx $16 Euro)

Overall, this hotel is not terrible, but it would not be my first choice when booking a stay in Helsinki/near Helsinki.

All of the staff members we encountered were very friendly. Everyone spoke very good English which was a huge plus for us. The dining was very very good. Having a free airport shuttle was another great thing. Our only negatives were some parts of the room, not really being what the photos showed and a bit dirty.
