Getting to the Resort

Getting to the resort from the Cancun airport is extremely easy! For this particular trip we booked through Delta Vacations and a free shuttle was provided for us. Be sure to always check with whoever you booked with ahead of time to see if this is provided!

You can also book a roundtrip shuttle ahead of time (You can get a private one or a shared one). This will take you from the airport to your resort and then at the end of your trip, from your resort to the airport. I usually book through Expedia and the cost is around $20-30 USD for a shared shuttle.

For our stay, we were in a Swim Up Junior Suite which allowed us to get directly into the lazy river from our room! Check out the video below for a tour!

Pools/Beach Area

El Dorado Royale features 6 swimming pools, 1 of them being a natural salt water pool. All are open from 8am-8pm. Also, 3 of these pools have swim-up bars!

The beach area has chairs and cabanas for everyone to use! (see photo below).

Additional Features

During your stay at El Dorado Royale, you have the opportunity to also visit Resorts El Dorado Casitas Royale & Generations since they are all connected. This means, you can enjoy the amenities at ALL 3 resorts (Pools, Restaurants, Bars)! The resort offers shuttles to take you around the 3 resorts and has shuttle stops scattered around making it very convenient!
