*Can you introduce yourselves?
Hello. Everyone’s here! I’m Maika, I sing and play guitar. I’m Chris, I play drums. I’m Christian, I play guitar and sing a lil’. and I’m Jay, I play bass and sing a lil as well.
*How did There for Tomorrow get together? Did you all know eachother prior to the band?
Maika knew Chris from pop warner football in like 5th grade. Chris and Jay had something going on and wanted another guitarist. So, Maika joined when he was like 13 and we’ve been playing ever since. Christian came into the picture like 2 and half years ago.
*Did you all want to pursue something in the music industry?
After playing together so long, we all want the same things. We have the same common goals for this band obviously, but each of us have a certain drive that always puts us through.
*You’re currently participating in the Class of ’08 tour (which just started), how is the tour so far?
The tour is great! It’s honestly a lot better than we expected. It’s a good time with our buddies in Versa Emerge and our newly found Canadian friends in Kiros. It’s almost done so if you can come out to any of the remaining dates, you HAVE to!
*Do you guys have plans of releasing an album this year?
Yesssss. In August we are releasing our Self Titled EP on Hopeless Records. It’ll have 4 of the songs from the “Pages” EP we released ourselves, and 3 new songs we did with James Wisner. We’re super happy about it. It’ll be our first release on Hopeless, so everyone out there has to help us blow it up! But we are also planning on going into the studio to record a full length late 08/early 09. We’ve got tons of songs that we can’t wait to show the world. Our first full length is where it’s really gonna count.
*If you could go on tour with any band, who would it be?
JIMMY EAT WORLD
*What was your favorite thing about filming the ‘Pages‘ video?
It was hard work building the set ourselves, but in the end it all paid off seeing the end product. That was the best part about the whole thing. We did it ourselves along with the help of the director Chris Grieder.
*You’re getting ready to tour with All time low starting in July-how excited are you for the tour?
Oh, man we’re so pumped. We’re ready to get on that stage every night and bring it. We’ve been waiting for tours like this for some time now. We’ve paid our dues, but there’s ALOT more to be paid. It’ll definitely be a very uplifting time for us.
* What is your goal for 2008?
2008 is gonna come and go pretty quick. We just wanna release this first EP and get it out to the rest of the world. We have to just make as big of a mark as we can, so we’ll be set up for the year after. Definitely expect lots of touring in the Fall and Winter.
*Who are your inspirations? (as a band)
Ah, man. We listen to EVERYTHING. Jimmy Eat World, Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Metallica, Justin Timberlake (Christian), 30 Seconds To Mars, Rascal Flatts, Breaking Benjamin, and JONAS BROTHERS!!!

*Message to your fans?
We just want everyone to know how happy we are to have such faithful families, friends, and fans. There’s alot in store for us in the future, and the main people we have to thank are you guys out there. Keep up what you’re doing and continue to spread that TFT word! Don’t give up on us, cause we’ll never give up on you. And, never forget to STAY REAL.
