an you introduce yourself?
Hi everyone! I’m Nicole Anderson from the Disney Channel show, JONAS. I’m 18 years old and currently reside in Los Angeles, CA with my American Eskimo dog, Fendi.
When did you know you wanted to be in the acting industry?
I’ve had an interest in performing ever since I was a little kid, but it wasn’t until I was 13 that I became serious about pursuing a career in acting.
You’ve had the opportunity to be on such TV shows as iCarly, Hannah Montana, Unfabulous, Zoey101 and more! What was it like getting these opportunities? What was your favorite to be on?
I remember my very first job as Cheerleader #3. It was a small role on Unfabulous with no speaking lines, but it was a start—and I was so extremely grateful for it! That was four years ago. And as more roles came around, these opportunities definitely kept my spirits up in an industry that’s so competitive. Up until now, my favorite role was on iCarly because I found my character a lot of fun to play. She was so mean! Haha.
You’re becoming widely known for your upcoming role as Macy on the Disney Channel show JONAS. What was it like hearing you landed the role along side Kevin, Joe, Nick Jonas and Chelsea Staub?
Overwhelming! The information was too much to process so all I could do was scream and jump for joy. I knew that it was going to be an amazing opportunity, and I felt so incredibly blessed to be a part of the project.
Tell us a little bit about your character Macy.
Macy is a jock. She plays just about every sport you could think of, and she attends school with the boys and Stella (played by Chelsea Staub), who are her friends. Macy is also Jonas’s number one fan.
How excited are you for the show to start in May?
I actually don’t think that it’s hit me yet. I’m so excited for all of our hard work to be out there for everyone to see and I hope that everyone likes it! I just don’t think I’ll ever get used to seeing myself on television or in ads. It’ll be way too weird!
What was it like for you to work with Kevin, Joe and Nick?
It’s a lot of fun! The guys are great – extremely talented and humble.
Are you working on any other upcoming projects?
Nothing is in the works yet, but hopefully something will be soon! : )
We heard you’re attending college as well as pursuing your dreams-how is school going for you?
It’s definitely tough trying to study for midterms and what not when I have 12 hour work days, but education is something that my family and I really value. I’ve been keeping my load light though by only taking one or two classes at a time online.
2009 just started-what are you hoping this year brings for you and your career?
Great health, happiness, and success.
What is something you’d like to accomplish-maybe not this year but for as long as you’re pursuing acting?
I’d love to continue a career in film while maintaining a healthy and grounded life outside of LA.
Do you have a message for your fans and the readers?
I love you guys! I sincerely appreciate all of your support, and I can’t wait for you to see the show in May. I hope you guys enjoy it! Xx, Nic
