-Introduce Yourself:
We are Tommy and the Tangerines a six member band from Boulder, Colorado.
We are comprised of five guys, one gal.

-How did you get your start?
We all came together slowly and through a series of open mic’s. We all played in various other projects and were looking for something new. When we first got this off the ground I think everyone knew this was the one they were looking for.
-Who are some of your influences?
We all enjoy a diverse group of music but for our sound we would say: The Beatles, Hall and Oates, Elvis Costello, Spoon, Cake, Wilco, Elliot Smith, Decemberists and Girls.
-How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?
To be specific without being specific its straight forward Rock/ Pop with very danceable beats.
-Do you have any music available for purchase, & if so where can people go to buy it?
Our first E.P. “Main Squeeze” is available everywhere online. It’s a 5 song disc that gives a good insight of the rest of our repertoire which is over forty originals.
-Fav. song to perform?
That’s a tough one and usually depends on the mood of the crowd. Right now its a song called “No Wonder” It’s very upbeat and gets the crowd moving.
-What is the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to you while performing?
Well Mic C our frontman is aways stripping his clothes off down to a leopard speedo…..the crowd seems to love it though.
-Who is someone you would like to work with or play a show with in the future?
We would all love to work with Cake or Radiohead…..you know a band’s band.
-Fav. band/artist of all time:
Beatles of course….. no matter how cliche that is.
-What is something people may be surprised to find out about you?
That we take ourselves very serious.
-What is 1 thing you would really like to see or do in your lifetime?
We just want to make decent records and travel the world playing music….Is that too much to ask?
-First concert you ever attended?
Rolling Stones
-What was your fav. cartoon or tv show while growing up?
Definitely MacGyver!
-Any last words/message to your fans?
Be on the lookout for a new full length album this year.
