-Introduce Yourself:

Hey, I’m Nick Miley. I am the heart, soul & only member of The Spin Room.

-Who are some of your influences?

Taking Back Sunday, Armor For Sleep, The Early November, Mayday Parade, Hidden In Plain View, Blink 182.

-How would you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

catchy, meaningful, relatable & heartfelt.

-In Sept. 2010 “The Dreams We Keep” was released on itunes, can you tell us a bit about the EP and what it was like recording it?

This EP was the beginning. I worked with Producer Rob Freeman (Hidden In Plain View) & studio drummer Nash Breen (Armor For Sleep). Two men who were in two of my favorite bands. I felt like my destiny was right in front of me, everything seemed to fall into place, so i called the EP “The Dreams We Keep”. Since then my songs have charted numerous times on Purevolume etc.

-What is your fav. song on the EP?

“You Did It Right”

-Are you currently working on another album, & if so, when can we expect to see it out?

yes, I’m shooting to have it out in early to mid 2012.

-Fav. song to perform?

you haven’t heard it yet but its called “Miracle.”

-What is the most embarrassing thing thats happened to you while performing?

When I first started out, I was playing a show in Florida & lost my voice mid way through my set & later found out that not only was the guitarist from Dashboard Confessional in the audience but that it was streamed live over the internet.

-Who is someone you would like to work with or play a show with in the future?

-What is something people may be surprised to find out about you?

that i can write a hit song in under 10 minutes.
