Introduce Yourself:
–Whats up! I’m Thomas. I’m a sagitarious and I like coffee….maybe too much.
-How did you get your start in singing?
–Singing came once I picked up a guitar…It just became apart of my life since then….Wake up, brush my teeth, then play guitar and sing…haha
-Who are some of your influences?
–I grew up listening to classic rock; beatles, Zepplin, Hendrix, Journey (yes, Journey), Bob Dylan….I never really listened to anything on the radio until high school. I wasn’t impressed with anything on the radio at the time. I thought all the better bands were still undiscovered.
-Your EP ‘Waiting’ is currently available. Can you tell us a bit about it and what it was like recording?
–Yup! And I couldn’t be happier! Recording this EP was awesome. It was finally a way for me to express my true identity! –I actually recorded about 20 songs and only picked 7 for the EP….The others are on stand-by. This EP was also recorded during the early mornings at a studio in Los Angeles. While the world was sleeping, I was cutting guitars.
–Fav. song from the EP?
–Jealous of Distance. Its something I put my heart into. And yes, it’s about a girl that I lost…silly love songs.
–What is the most embarrassing thing thats happened to you while performing?
–Um….lets just say now I always wear a belt on stage.
–Who is someone you would like to work with or play a show with in the future?
–I would love to play a show with OneRepublic or The Fray. On the flip side, a show with Kesha looks like it would be fun too.
–Fav. movie of all time:
–The Notebook. Ahhh….I hope not too many people see that. haha…I’m a sucker for a good romantic movie….that and Across the Universe.
–What is something people may be surprised to find out about you?
–Growing up (when I was wayyyy young), I was afraid of the phone when it would ring. You never know…haha
–What would you want to see/do if you found out the world was going to end in 1 week?
–Oh geez. As my friend would say…”You gotta embrace that stuff”. –I’d max out my cards and watch it happen from a space ship….they do that now right? Tours of space?
-Fav. artist/group of all time & your fav. song by them?
–My favorite artist is anyone that has soul. James Brown, Jacks Mannequin/Something Corporate, Cold play, Kc and Jojo…..the list goes on and on my friends.
-One song -or- cd you own that may be embarrassing to admit to:
–Kids Bop 10. Saying it loud and Proud. haha
-First concert you ever attended?
–Beach Boys. Soo awesome.
–What was your fav. cartoon or tv show while growing up?
–Rescue Rangers. Oh, and Home Improvement…love it.
