Introduce yourself
Hutch: Hey! I’m Hutch Dano. I am a 16 year old actor from California.
When did you get your start in acting?
Hutch: I’ve been acting for a while. I grew up doing school plays.
Who are your inspirations?
Hutch: I have many people that I look up to in the acting business, many inspirations. I’d say I have a real love for Johnny Depp.
Tell us about Zeke and Luther which will be airing on Disney XD.
Hutch: Zeke and Luther is about two best friends who want nothing more in the world than to become world-famous skateboarders. Together with their friends, skating rivals, and family, Zeke & Luther find themselves always busy getting into mischief. The first episode is called “Bros Go Pro“ and it will premiere on Monday, June 15.
We’re hearing you’re going to be staring on the Suite life on Deck as Debby Ryans Characters Boyfriend-Tell us about this?
Hutch: I play Moose in the Suite Life on Deck who is Bailey’s boyfriend back home in Kansas. He is going to be in some episodes next season.
You’re currently filming Ramona and Beezus-how is the process going?
Hutch: It’s going really great. We have so much fun on set, and the cast is amazing.
Tell us about your character Henry.
Hutch: Henry is Beezus’ friend and longtime classmate. He is also the love interest of Beezus and they might have a little romance going on but you have to wait until the movie comes out to
What is it like getting the opportunity to work with Selena Gomez?
Hutch: Selena is such a sweet girl, she is down to earth and not scared of making a fool of herself. I think she is doing a great job on Wizards of Waverly Place but the fans are going to be blown away by her in Ramona and Beezus. I love to work with her, we also did the Disney Friends For Change project together with many other young disney kids. I’m a big Selena Gomez fan.
Any funny on set moments you can share?
Hutch: You know, Selena really freaks out when someone prank calls her so i called her in the middel of the night and i was like „Yo, this is Barney and i miss my friends“ it was pretty lame but she was freaking out because she thought i was some random person calling her. Oh and once I changed the language on Selena’s phone to Japanese once and it took her like half an hour to get it back to normal.
Do you have any other upcoming projects? If so-what can you share?
Hutch: As of right now, Zeke & Luther is doing a good job at keeping me busy, haha. But I’m always on the look out for new opportunities. So we’ll see what comes my way.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Hutch: Hanging out with friends. I like sports, i play basketball on set whenever i have time to.
Favorite band/singer
Hutch: Hmm… that’s a tough one. I have so many favorite bands and songs by many different people. Like some examples of the sound would be like Kings of Leon, Blink 182, Simple Plan and Linkin Park are all great bands.
If you could be a guest star on any TV show what would it be?
That would be Lost. I love everything about it and it’s such an addicting show!! The cast is awesome, the writing is amazing. Plus, I kind of have a crush on Evangeline Lilly, haha.
Who would you like to work with?
I would like to work with Jennifer Aniston.
