*Introduce yourself: My name is Jimmy Robbins.
*How long have you been into singing? Well, I don’t really remember ever starting to sing haha. It was just something I always did around the house. But the first time I sang in public I think I was about 12 years old, so about 6 years ago now.
*Was it something you always wanted to do? Yeah, as far back as I can remember this has been the only thing I could ever see myself doing.
*Who are some of your influences? Some of the artists I really love include Tom Petty, Third Eye Blind, The traveling willberys, Jimmy Eat World and the Format.
*If you could perform with any artist/group, who would you choose and why? Well my favorite artist and song writer of all time is Tom Petty, so it would be hands down the most amazing experience of my life to ever share a room with him… so to share a stage would just blow my mind haha.
*Very soon you are performing an ‘online concert’, can you tell us a little bit about this and when/where everyone can see it? The online concert is something I just recently learned I could do. It’s on a website called .. the link is www…/jimmyrobbins and I’ll be playing an online set list at 7 PM Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday August the 6th. It’s the same set I’m playing the night before at a show that obviously not everyone will be able to go to. So I wanted people who couldn’t be there to still sort of be a part of it.
*What do you hope to accomplish in your career? Honestly, if I can have music in my life for the rest of my life in any capacity than I consider myself successful. Fame and money inevitably don’t chock up to success. So as long as I’m making and playing music I love, than I’ve accomplished what I want to. And if there’s just one life I can have a real effect on through the process than it’ll all have been worth while.
*Have you had any embarrassing moments yet while performing? if so, would you like to share a story? haha, well I’ve definitely had guitars break completely on stage. And I wish I could say I was cool enough to just play it off and finish the show with just vocals, but sadly I’m not that cool. haha

*What do you like to do in your spare time? I’m a movie nerd. If it comes out, I see it! haha
*If you were stranded on an island and could only have 3 things with you…what 3 things would you choose and why? I would choose a guitar because I can’t think of a time in a long time I went a whole day without playing. I’d bring my lap top because I’m addicted! And I’d also probably bring a tube of burt’s bees chapstick. It is my weakness. haha
*Message to your fans? To fans or friends, I prefer to say friends, thank you so much for all the support you’ve shown me in whatever capacity you’ve shown it. I wish I could say I deserve it, but I don’t. You’re all way too amazing and I can never thank you enough. But I do promise to keep making songs the best I know how and putting them out there for you guys!
